How do I book a ride?

Booking a ride is simple! Register an account on our platform, set your pickup location, enter your destination, choose your preferred vehicle type (motorcycle, tricycle, or car), and confirm your booking. A nearby driver will accept your request within minutes.

Can I schedule a ride in advance?

Yes! You can schedule rides up to 7 days in advance. Simply select the "Schedule" option when booking and choose your preferred date and time. You'll receive a confirmation and reminder before your scheduled ride.

How do I cancel a booking?

You can cancel your booking through the app within 2 minutes of booking for free. After 2 minutes, a small cancellation fee of ₱20 may apply to compensate the driver for their time and travel.

Can I book for someone else?

Absolutely! You can set a different pickup location and contact number for the rider. This is perfect for sending rides to family members, friends, or colleagues.

Payments & Pricing

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept both cash payments and digital wallet payments through our app. You can top up your SakayPH wallet using GCash, Maya, bank transfer, or over-the-counter payment centers.

How is the fare calculated?

Fare is calculated based on a base fare plus distance traveled. Each vehicle type has different rates. You'll see the fare estimate before confirming your booking. The final fare may vary slightly based on actual distance and waiting time.

Is there a surge pricing?

No! Unlike other ride-hailing services, SakayPH does not implement surge pricing. You pay fair and transparent rates regardless of demand or time of day.

Can I get a receipt?

Yes, digital receipts are automatically generated for every completed ride. You can view and download them from your ride history in the app.

Account & Profile

How do I create an account?

Creating an account is free and easy! Click the "Register" button, provide your email address or phone number, create a password, and verify your account. You'll be ready to book rides in minutes.

How do I reset my password?

Click "Forgot Password" on the login page, enter your registered email or phone number, and we'll send you a reset link. Follow the instructions to create a new password.

How do I update my profile?

Go to your account settings in the app. You can update your name, phone number, profile picture, and saved addresses. Some changes may require verification.

Becoming a Driver

How do I become a driver?

Register as a driver on our platform through the "Become a Driver" page. Submit the required documents including valid driver's license, vehicle registration, and NBI clearance. Our team will review your application within 3-5 business days.

What are the requirements?

Requirements include: valid professional driver's license, vehicle registration (OR/CR), NBI clearance, barangay clearance, and a smartphone for the driver app. Additional requirements may vary by vehicle type.

How much can I earn?

Earnings depend on the number of completed rides, distance, and vehicle type. Our drivers enjoy competitive commission rates and receive 80% of the fare. Many full-time drivers earn ₱1,500-₱2,500 daily.

Safety & Security

Are drivers background-checked?

Yes! All drivers undergo thorough background checks including NBI clearance verification, drug testing, and driving record assessment. We prioritize your safety above all else.

Is my ride tracked?

Yes, all rides are tracked in real-time using GPS. You can share your trip details with trusted contacts so they can monitor your journey. All trip data is recorded for safety purposes.

What if I have an emergency during a ride?

Our app has an emergency button that connects you directly to local authorities and our 24/7 support team. You can also contact our emergency hotline at +63 965 256 0752.

Is there insurance coverage?

Yes, every ride is covered by our comprehensive passenger insurance. This covers accidents, injuries, and other unforeseen incidents during your trip.
